Trigger and his dad were homeless. We helped w/ medical care, food, supplies.  I checked in from time to time w/ Trigger's dad and gave him our contact number. I got a call one day from friends of Kevin (Trigger's daddy), who said he was critically ill and not sure if he was going to make it. They asked if I would take Trigger home...and of course we did. We never heard back from Kevin, nor could we find him for the 2 months we looked for him at the usual corners.  Trigger lost his human, and you could see it in his eyes in the beginning.

However, he enjoyed a warm safe quiet bed at night, playmates, and a loving house to live in. He's the most wonderful playful sweet natured boy w/ a grin that kills!!
