What we do

We don't sell, breed or butcher our animals....we save them from those circumstances . We appreciate donations as most of our costs are paid out of our own wallet. We own our humble property nestled in the antelope valley. Our animals don't live a fancy life but they do live a good one! Their needs and wants matter to us and we hope they matter to you as well!

Where it all started

We rescued Phoebe and her newborn calf on Valentine's Day 2014, and on Valentine's Day 2015 we welcomed Sky and her little Cloud, another mom and newborn calf.   We went back a week later to rescue Sky's sister Sun!

We rescued a Yorkshire pig, Ginger,  who was pregnant and gave birth to 9 health piglets! That was a special event here at the sanctuary. Pigs are loving caring mothers!

Our sanctuary is nestled against the angeles forest. We are surrounded by rolling green hills and mountains, and enjoy a peaceful existence. The souls we have saved and provide for are family not food. They all have names as individual as their personalities. They are not asked to perform, cater to us, or be an exhibit like some animals are at a petting zoo style rescue. This is home to cows, pigs, goats, turkeys, alpacas, sheep, llamas, mini donkeys and horses, hens and roosters, rabbits and rats! Friends not food!
